Emmaus is suitable for use during Easter and Pentecost. It describes the encounter between Jesus and two of his disciples on the road to Emmaus after Jesus' death. The chorus is uplifting and full of hope.
It could be sung by a choir in unison or a soloist, accompanied by keyboard or guitar with an optional descant for flute or other C instrument.
